ABOUT US
Aparajita Burjwal is a dynamic dancer, choreographer, and teacher with a deep-rooted passion for both Contemporary dance and Kathak. Her dance journey began at just 13, when she started training at Sriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra in Delhi. By 15, her thirst for artistic growth led her to Ashley Lobo's Danceworx, where she immersed herself in Jazz and Contemporary dance. After four years of intense training, Aparajita took the next step in her career by joining a dance company, where she spent another four years performing and teaching.

In 2016, Aparajita shifted her focus to choreography, crafting pieces that highlighted her creativity and unique vision. Her work has taken her across India, from Bombay to Bangalore, Pune, and her hometown of Delhi. In 2020, she made a bold move to the UK to pursue a Master’s in Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Her dedication paid off when she graduated with distinction in 2021.

Since moving to the UK, Aparajita has been an active participant in the dance community, sharing her expertise through teaching and captivating performances. She has been involved in various projects, including ‘Dance Dosti,’ a dance programme for visually impaired individuals, and commercial Bollywood dance projects with UK-based companies. In 2023, she launched her own company, Aparajita Burjwal Dance, which has already made its mark at several commercial, corporate, and community events.

Aparajita’s classes are a seamless blend of technique, choreography, and improvisation, drawing from both Kathak and Contemporary dance. She is passionate about spreading the joy of dance and aims to inspire and uplift others through her artistry, continuing to make a meaningful impact in the world of dance.
