Anveshan - Choreography Intensive
This is a flagship programme where we will delve into the discipline of choreography. You will spend two days discovering the various aspects of choreography as a craft and learning new tools to use in your own work.
This intesive will culimate in an informal showing amongst friends and family.

Key Highlights
Day 1
The first 3 hours will be dedicated to learning a group choreography taught by Aparajita, where we will employ various choreographic tools such as directions, levels, speed, cannons etc to build the piece. The objective of this group piece is not to learn difficult choreography, but to understand layering and how it changes the entire piece.
The next 3 hours will be dedicated to you creating your own choreography, which can either be a solo or a duet. As a part of this intensive, it is mandatory for you to either choreograph or perform another piece (other than the group piece).
Day 2
On day 2, we will continue learning and refining the group choreography for the first 3 hours. We will focus on cleaning the piece and polishing our musicality.
In the second half, you will continue working on your individual project with your dancers (you can dance in your piece yourself or use another dancer).
We will finish the intensive with an intimate sharing of our works in progress in the studio itself. You can invite your friends and family to watch the showing.
